Our Products and Services :
Gypsum mineral in different size fractions is used in production of Cement, Glass, Plaster of Paris and Fertilizers. One of the major factors driving gypsum consumption is urbanization growth, particularly in India and China. As such, large-scale industrialization creates a need for rapid improvements in infrastructure. We are exporting our Gypsum to customers in India, Africa, Qatar, UAE, Bangladesh and Japan.
Limestone, often referred to as the world’s most versatile mineral, is an important raw material for various industries, with a strong link to the construction industry, steel production and cement manufacturing in the Pacific Asian markets.
Gabbro is a type of dark, igneous rock formed by the cooling of molten magma trapped beneath the earth’s surface. Our Gabbro has the strength and physical properties which makes it a preferred material for the construction industry particularly for asphalt and concrete and block making. We sell our product within Oman to a number of local construction and ready mix companies. Demand for gabbro is expected to remain strong over the near future considering the large infrastructure projects within Oman and the GCC region.
Marble is created by subjecting limestone to high temperatures and pressures over thousands of years, resulting in a stone capable of taking a high glossy polish. It is one of the most versatile materials discovered by man. The three principal uses of marble are construction, interior decoration and sculpture. As a construction and interior material marble is well suited to modern building designs due to its clean, ascetically pleasing architectural style. It combines well with ceramics, wood and other common construction materials. Marble tiles can be applied over almost any surface and they can be cut to fit specific measurements. The color of marble ranges from brilliant white to black, including blue-gray, red, yellow and green, depending upon the mineral composition.
A fleet of prime movers and trailers supporting our mining companies from mine to port plus moving for 3rd parties cargo between Salalah and the capital Muscat and surrounding areas daily in both directions. In addition, Logistics supplies services to our Marble, Gabbro and Readymix business in both Muscat and Salalah.
Lime is obtained by calcining (controlled heating – time and temperature) limestone at temperatures above 900°C. These highly reactive products are used as additives in such industries as metallurgy, steel flux, sewage and water treatment, environment treatment, land consolidation, PH adjustment, caustic agent, acid gas absorption.
