Mr. Dean Cunningham, CEO

Dean_CunninghamMr. Cunningham is a Mining Engineer, and Private Equity and Corporate Financier with 28 years of experience. Mr Cunningham was previously the Managing Director of Auroch Minerals NL, an ASX-listed (Australian Securities Exchange) gold exploration Company in Mozambique. In addition, he held the position of Executive Director, Corporate Finance for Basil Read (a listed construction Company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange) where he was responsible for global acquisition activity, in conjunction with capital raisings and investor relations. He simultaneously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of TWP Investments, the Private Equity arm of TWP Holdings (now Worley Parsons), a mining, processing and energy consulting Company with investments in Africa. He was integrally involved in providing strategic direction, project management and corporate finance skills directly to the investments made by TWP Investments. He was responsible for the listing of and capital-raising for TWP Holdings.

Mr Cunningham ran and owned his own mining advisory and stock broking firm, Micofin Corporate Services and Rice Rinaldi, providing advisory, capital-raising and research to African-based mining and financial institutions. During this period he was a Director of a listed gold and tanzanite operation on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, part funded a new diamond cut and polishing technology, formed a platinum chain manufacturing operation, Silplats, in Cape Town and structured and funded a gold refinery for Harmony Gold Mining Company. He was closely involved in the debate surrounding the beneficiation of resources in South Africa.

Finally, Mr Cunningham was a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and a Director of Investec Securities (previously Fergusson Brothers Hall Stewart), responsible for promoting listed South African mining companies and capital-raising globally. He was a rated gold, coal and platinum analyst dealing with buy-side institutions in South Africa. He holds a Marketing and Branding in Global Markets certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has a diploma for evaluating rough and polished diamonds.

Mr. Sachin Bawa, CFO

Mr. Sachin Bawa brings the experience and expertise of over three decades in Finance and general management in India and the Middle East. A Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has held senior management positions in Oman in Industry and Banking since 1997.

Since 2014, he has been advisor to key business houses on greenfied projects while simultaneously overseeing his own greenfield ventures in education and healthcare. Prior to that he was the CEO of Izz Group of Companies, CFO of the Shanfari Group of Companies and a Senior Manager at Bank Muscat. His achievements include re-engineering of corporates, turnarounds, amalgamations and mergers, demergers, managing and advising key business negotiations and successfully executing them.

He has held board positions in various SAOC and SAOG companies and was nominated as a Director on the Board of Indian Schools in Oman by the Ambassador of India in 2011.

Mr. Kahlid Yahya Al Raisi, Group Internal Auditor

Mr. Khalid Yahya AlRaisi is the Group Internal Auditor. He has over 10 years experience in auditing and accounting. Prior to joining Kunooz, he was Finance Manager and part of the management team with State Bank of India – Muscat. He was key member in the bank who introduced both personal and car loan services in 2013. Prior to his employment with State Bank of India, Mr. AlRaisi held a senior position with Ernst and Young LLP – Muscat for over 6 years. Ernst and Young a leading financial services organization in the Middle East. During his career with Ernst and Young Mr. AlRaisi provided professional consultant services for many international firms on audit and tax for the region.

Mr. AlRaisi is a registered member of The Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA), also has registered in CPA Examination Center. He holds a Degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University.

Mr. Adnan Abdulaziz Al-Balushi, Group Human Resources Manager

Adnan Al-Balushi is the Group Human Resources Manager with Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Resources Management and Bachelor Degree holder in Business Administration pathway as Human Resources Management with 21 years of experience.

Adnan is a strong individual in the area of Human Resources Management, well organized, and ability to work in multicultural environmental. Good communication skill at all level throughout the organization, strategic and good team player with strong leadership abilities. He has worked in many sectors and industries including Trading, Insurance, Construction, Maritime and Shipping, Investment and Manufacturing.

Adnan actively works towards building sustainable Human Resources Systems and the  formation of the Human Resources Departments. He is a member of CIPD – UK based HR professional as well a member of SHRM – USA based HR professional and a member of OSHRM – Oman based HR professional. Adnan expertise includes HR Policies and Procedures, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development, staff performance management, Manpower planning, and recruitment and Selections.

Mr. Haitham Bin Said Al Wahaibi, Group Health Safety Security and Environmental Manager

Mr. Haitham Al Wahaibi is a HSSE Specialist with over 12 years of experience.

Mr. Haitham was previously associated with Global Electricals Engineering Consultants which is Mott Macdonald in HSSE Construction Safety and advised Internal HSSE staff on best practices, safety standards and regulations as per the occupational safety and health (OSH) department of the directorate general for laborer’s welfare.

He has immense HSSE experience associated to strategic planning, cost reductions, developing HSSE policies and programs, implementation of equipment for safety and compliance, processes to address new regulations. Implementing and monitoring all aspects of work site, as per HSSE approved plan, site regulations, safe work permits and procedures as per client requirements, he has lead the team in incident investigations, delivered significant safety performance, drive business growth and control short/long term liability through HSSE policies and procedures. He has received recognition for 5 Million Job Hours Lost Time Accident Free from Sohar Aluminum Project, 2 Million Job Hours LTI Free from Sohar Aluminum, further to this he has certificate of appreciations for his contribution towards HSSE from British Petroleum and Towell Construction, apart from various other certifications and recognitions.

Mr. Haitham is holding Bachelor Degree in Health, Safety and Environment Sciences from Bakerville University, also has Professional Qualification Studies Related to Over Head Network Assistant and Wireline from Rusayl Institute and IOSH managing Safety, United Kingdom and NEBOSH Sultanate of Oman/United Kingdom.

Mr. Imaduddin Mohammed, Group IT Development Manager

Mr. Imaduddin is an Information Technology Engineer, with over 15 Year’s of experience in GCC.

Mr. Imaduddin started his career back in India as Programmer in Scantech Computers and Communication Concepts, he was responsible for developing applications in Visual Basic and Power Builder. Moving over to Gulf, he joined Assyst Saudi Arabia, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Microsoft Dynamics ERP, He started as Technical Consultant for MCBA Accounting package, a product from USA, he was responsible for Installation and Troubleshooting. Later moved to Microsoft Dynamic ERP as Technical Consultant within the organization, he was a part of team implementing MS Dynamics ERP across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Then moving to Lateral System and Solutions a Dubai based company in Sultanate of Oman he was involved in Managing its existing clients as a part of MS Dynamics support services.

Later Imaduddin joined as Assistant Manager – Applications, in Bahrain International Circuit (One of 19 Circuits approved by FIA in the world), was responsible for maintaining and supporting all the applications like ERP, CRM and Ticketing Applications, He was responsible for replacing the legacy ticketing application to completely web based system including Online and Access Control for visitors during Local and International Racing events like GCC Races, International World Endurance Championship (WEC) and Annual Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix (F1 Race).

Mr. Imaduddin is a Certified Microsoft Technology Specialist with Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics ERP, academic includes a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (BSCs). Also owns certifications in following technologies; Certification in Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System. Certification in Administration and Maintenance of SQL SERVER 2005/2012. Advanced Post Graduation Diploma in Software Engineering, Certificate of Merit in JAVA Programming, and Certification in SAP from Sun Star Solutions with an overview in MM/SD Modules.

He is Group IT Development Manager at Kunooz.

Mr. Stanley D'Souza, Board Secretary

Mr. D’Souza, has a B.A. (Honors) Economics Degree from the Bombay University, India and experience of over 28 years in administration, management, corporate finance, verifications, audit controls, feasibility studies and restructuring of business units. He is currently the Board Secretary and Executive Manager, Chairman’s Office of the Company.

Prior to his current role, he  worked in Saudi Arabia as an Operations Manager for 17 years with one of the largest holding companies and later was the Human Resources and Management Consultant.

Mr. Stanley has various management certifications and is well versed in MS Office and e-Commerce. He has also been a mentor to a number of students and staff in their academic pursuits.
