Sheikh Salim is a pioneering businessman who plays an active role in various public and private business ventures. He is currently the Vice Chairman of Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company SAOG, He is actively involved with the CEO in the strategic direction of the Group.
In addition he is the Managing Director and Group CEO of Al Rawas Holding LLC, which has a diverse portfolio ranging from general trading, real estate and investment consulting. He is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Kunooz.
Adding to his legacy of contributions to the business and education community in Oman, Sheikh Salim has held Board of Directors memberships at the Central Bank of Oman, Capital Market Authority and Sultan Qaboos University. He was also a Shura Council Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dhofar Cattle Feed Company, He was awarded the Oman Businessman of the year in October 2016 for his excellent overall business achievement and contribution to the Sultanate’s economy.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Beirut Arab University, Lebanon.
Sheikh Muammer is the Vice Chairman of the board of directors of the Company and a Board Member of the Majan Mining Company LLC. In addition to these, he is a board member in Al Rawas Holding LLC since its inception, as well the Abdullah Saeed Bader Al Rawas Group.
Sheikh Muammer is well versed with various private and public business ventures. He began his career with Al Rawas Holding LLC where he contributed immensely to the development of the company. He has more than 17 years executive experience and is a seasoned professional who has been involved in all aspects of administration, management and implementation.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and is a graduate of King’s College of Business Administration, Oxford, UK.
Mr. Kabir presently serves NBO’s Wholesale Banking Group comprises of Corporate, Investment, Government, Business Banking, Treasury Division, Financial Institutions Group and Wholesale Distribution Division (Transaction Banking).
He joined NBO in 2008 and has handled important portfolios in the bank. He has also served the bank as General Manager Retail Banking and Chief Financial Officer prior to his present assignment. Mr. Kabir serves on key decision making forums of the bank such as the bank’ Executive Management Committee, Asset Liability Committee, Management Credit Committee, Management Risk Committee and is the Chairman of the Business Technology Committee.
Mr. Kabir is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Technology and Operations with organizations like ABN Amro Bank Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, Saudi American Bank, Ernst & Young and Inforica Inc, Canada.
He currently Chairs the Kunooz Oman Audit and Human Resources Committee and also part of the Executive Committee.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an MBA in General Management from the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Sheikh Yasser Al Rawas is an energetic and proficient executive who is well versed with various private and public business ventures. He has always strived and devoted his full time and energy for the success of the companies and ventures he was involved in.
Sheikh Yasser began his career with Al Rawas Holding LLC; and he has contributed immensely to the development of the company. He has more than 15 years executive experience and he is a seasoned professional and has been involved in all aspects of administration, management and implementation. He is a team player and an experienced facilitator who can communicate with governments, investors, communities and unions. His executive skills have successfully raised the company profile he is associated with.
He is a board member of Al Rawas Holding LLC, Salalah Flour Mills and Omani Packaging Co. SAOG. In addition he is Managing Director of Al Rasiyat Engineering M.E. LLC and Muscat Printing Press LLC. Further, he sits on the Audit and Human Resources Committee’s of Kunooz and Salalah Mills and is Chairman of the Audit Committee at Omani Packaging.
He has a Business Administration and Marketing degree from the Bedfordshire University, United Kingdom.
Sheikh Mamdooh Abdullah Al Rawas is a Board member of Kunooz since its inception. He established Salalah Ready-mix Co from the consolidation of Al Rawas Cement Products Co (blocks and curbstones) and Al Ahqaf Limited Mining Co (Crusher) in Salalah under Al Rawas Holding Group of companies as Managing Director and led the business to be one of the largest cement product producers in Salalah.
He also serves as a Board Member in Al Rawas Holding Group of companies. He has a wide knowledge and experience of more than 12 years in managing projects, machinery and financial management.
He has a B.S of Business Administration (Management) Degree from Oxford Business College in the UK.
Sheikh Faisal is an active and dynamic executive who is well versed with various private and public business ventures.
Sheikh Faisal began his career with Al Rawas Holding LLC; and he has contributed in many ways to the overall development and success of the company. He has more than 15 years top level experience and has been involved in various aspects of organization.
He currently holds the following Board positions at Al Rawas Holding LLC and Omani Packaging Co. SAOG. In addition, he sits on the Audit and Human Resources Committees at Kunooz and is an Audit Committee member at Omani Packaging.
He has a Business Decision Management degree from the Bedfordshire University in the United Kingdom.
Mr Yahmadi is a Member of the Board and is presently serves as Chief Executive Office of National Industrial and Resource Company, the industrial and resource investment arm of Oman Investment Fund, a sovereign wealth fund of Sultanate of Oman.
He has over 19 years experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, and Private Equity Investments, previously Mr. Yahmadi was Chief Investment Officer at Al Madina Investments and lectured in economics and finance at Sultan Qaboos University at Sultanate of Oman.
Mr. Yahmadi holds a Master in Finance and Accountancy. He is a Certified Islamic Finance Professional and also hold Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Accounting.
Mr Esmail is a Member of Board and presently serves Oman Investment Fund (OIF), a Sovereign wealth fund of Sultanate of Oman, in the capacity of Associate Investment Director of National Industries and Resources Company, the industry and resource investment arm of OIF.
Salim has 12 years of strategy , corporate finance, investment banking and private equity experience, prior to joining OIF, Salim served as head of strategy and budgeting at alizz Islamic Bank where he was responsible for bank overall strategy, budgeting and planning. previously Salim served as Senior Manager at Price Water-house Coopers where he led the transaction services team in Oman, working with both government and private sector clients, he has significant exposure to all aspects of corporate fiance, project finance, M&A, IPOs and financial restructuring and advised a broad range of clients.
Mr. Esmail holds a Master in Finance from university of Leicester School of Management, UK. and a B.S. of Business Administration (Finance) from Cairo University of Egypt.
